Dakar, Sénégal – 2017
Papier-mâché sculptures covered with pop images from magazines offer alightness. The animals of the savannah symbolize the fury of the night and humor. Mirrors and windows create perspectives. As for the wallpaper libraries, they come to thwart the clouded eye of the night owl. We only touch institutions with precision and respect!
I dreamed of the rebirth of this mythical place in chasing the classic for the unexpected.
